Grenada GED Graduation & Honors Society Induction and Awards Cermony

The Grenada Adult Education Center will host their spring annual 2016-17 GED Graduation Ceremony and National Adult Education Honor Society induction and awards ceremony for adult learners on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30 pm in the Education Center Auditorium at 423 South Line Street.  Adult High School Equivalency (HSE) graduates who have chosen to participate will be honored at a brief reception following the cap-and-gown ceremony.  For more information, call 227-6101.

Homecoming Services in Carroll County

Calvary Baptist Church, located in Carroll County, will have Homecoming Services on Sunday, May 28 beginning at 10:30 am.  Singing will be brought by Wesley Davis, and Rev. Terry Corley will be the guest speaker.  Dinner will be served in the Pavillion, wheel chair accessible.

“Safety Town” in Louisville

This year “Safety Town” will be held on Saturday, April 29 from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm at the Louisville Coliseum.  It is free to all Winston County Kids, aged preschool to eighth grade.  Join your dedicated Pilot Club at the Coliseum at 10:30 am, dress comfortably.  Entertainment  will be provided by Melvin and Julie Chase.  There will also be face painting and a hot dog lunch.  For more information, call Bettie at (662) 418-0005.
